A busy day for us getting ready for Hurricane Irene, but it didn't stop us from having some fun!!

Last minute shopping is done, and tonight we will finish securing the patio furniture. The hurricane still seems to be on a direct path to Connecticut and the rest of New England.

I told Jack that we would have 'camping nights' on Saturday and Sunday nights. We will sleep in the living room and have some fun. I figure it's probably smarter to sleep downstairs during the windy nights considering we have HUGE pine trees that are right next to the house on Jacks bedroom side. He's pretty excited about it...I just hope he won't be too nervous when he hears the wind and we lose power.
