There's a goose asleep in the rain

Found this Leicester hog (one of last year's lambs) wandering in the lane during my afternoon walk, which brought to mind the story of Mr Forgetful. I used to howl with laughter at the Mr Men books when I was little and we already have a few that we read to Grace, so perhaps she will grow up loving those crazy stories too.

Anyway, I rounded up this particular sheep and guided her back to a pen along our track, then left it for my little brother to sort out when he got back from stonewalling.

Had a lovely day - great to drive past work this morning and see all the other cars parked there, knowing that I - instead of working - was with Grace on our way to the Rhythm Time group. We then went for a leisurely lunch at my friend Elisa's house, where Grace got to play with her friends Gabrielle, Sebastian and Claudia.

On a sadder note, my mam had a fall last night and has injured her foot/ankle/leg. She's been bedridden all day and no sign of improvement yet. It never rains does it?
