Oteren Norway

Oteren is a small village where I stayed few days. One shop, one bank, few houses. Not far from Kilpisjärvi or Tromsö.

Nice place, lovely local people, quite many speaking Finnish. Whether they have moved from Finland or are kvens what is the old name for Finnish speaking people living here in North Norway.
Actually the community have three official languages, Norwegian, Sami and Kven.

And great fish. The most special dish was cod tongue. I didn´t know that cods even have tongues, though they are big enough to be eaten, but they were. And delicious too.

Tomorrow driving back to Finland.
