The Simple Things in Life

A lazy day today, only left the house for a quick wander around the botanics, I say quick but when little man decided he wanted to walk (using his pram as the walker) it was painstakingly slow. There are loads of these sheds dotted around the gardens at the moment - this one folds down to reveal a full band playing some tunes. It's all part of a theatre piece from Fuel Theatre. I'm intrigued but won't get the chance to check it out, we did think about hanging around at the back to see it for free but our bellys started to rumble.

Have been reading good reviews of the new album by The War on Drugs, so had a wee listen today. The first track was promising - ambient, alt-country with a bit of early Verve thrown in. The rest of the album fell away after that and I got bored by the end, shame.
