Swans among the lotus beds
Sunday
Unfortunately, last night's storms didnt do much to lower the heat and humidity. We packed up the camper, then headed over to East Harbor State Park for a few hours. We had popped in there yesterday evening on our way back to the campsite, and found that there was plenty of parking, so we knew we'd have no problem parking the car and camper. It was time for our picnic lunch when we got there, which we had overlooking the lake. Unfortunately the bugs were feeding on us at the same time! Then we spent a few hours on the beach, taking several dips in the lake to cool off. I took a few shots of the lotus beds in the parks wetland areas as we left.
