Friday night at the Ivy

A bit of a drop in must at the Ivanhoe Hotel friday nights. There's a core group usually there and other occasionals like Simon here.

Simon is a rather gorgeous local identity, involved in lots of things, but especially known for his fantastic work as a core member of the Friends of Blackheath Pool and Park. Council were trying to close our pool a few years ago, but we weren't having a bit of it. It is due to the work of this group along with terrific local support that we now have a fabulous new pool within our beautiful Memorial Park. Even after spending bucket loads of money, Council still talk about closing it.

Go figure.
