Gone.....

.....is the old carpet that my grandma and I would look at and see patterns and faces in.

Yes it was old and torn, and the new carpet that's slowly creeping up the stairs is fresh and new, and soft under foot.....but I miss the leaf shaped face that used to remind me of my granny ;(
