Appealing Looks

Kitkat waits hopefully outside the bathroom door, hoping somebody will let her in.

Actually, that's something we try hard to avoid: once inside, her usual habit is to balance along the edge of the bath to lick drops of water from the bath tap, or to leap from the side of the bath up onto the washbasin and do the same thing there.

For an increasingly frail '18 year old kitten' that's not really such a good idea: we've already heard her slip off the narrow edge of the bath when she'd sneaked in without our knowing. Fortunately she was all right after that incident, but it's not something we really want her to risk again.
