Jean's Clematis

Currently these are the focal point in the view from our bedroom window each morning when I close it to keep the heat out. Pure delight.

Jean is our next door neighbour. She's been that to us since we moved here 26 years ago. In fact she's been here since our houses were built in the fifties. No one could ask for a better neighbour. At age 86 she's starting to talk about a change of homes. I hope it doesn't happen in the near future.
