city life

never in my life have i been so blatantly aware of the stark differences between city life and rural life. the culture, pace, daily activities, and general surroundings bring about such contrast. i spent most of the day wandering, exploring, and photographing. sipping coffee at a favorite local cafe, reading and writing in an inspiring community journal. accepting the concrete in place of the forests. feeling welcome in the differences.
