First Light - Ross Lake

On a cloudy and overcast morning, a ray of early morning sunlight breaks through to illuminate the cliffs lining the shore across Ross Lake. We are at Lodgepole Camp on Day Three of our trek and the weather has been great. Cool and partly cloudy while we're on the trail, clearing every night so we can see the stars.
