Blushing Popcorn
Took some morning shots of the just-starting-to-blush Sedum, then tried a few more this afternoon for better lighting. It was amazing the amount of the tiny blossoms burst open by the end of the day. They are almost like little popcorn kernels that erupt and stick out their wiry tongues! This afternoon, I also found the metallic green bug enjoying the blooms as much as I was. So, he joined the photo op! Funny how the Azalea bushes next to the Sedum have several blooms too. They must be confused, thinking it's almost Spring instead of almost Fall.
