Hop Farm
so last night it rained. And rained. And Rained. And anyone who has ever slept in a tent, will know that rain and tents can be a soggy combination!! Thankfully we didn't have any leaks in the actual tent, just a bit of puddle-age in the porch! We didn't think the rain would stop all day, so we had to decide if we would just stay in the tent and play snakes and ladders a lot, or go out and make the best of it. So wellies on, kags on, and off we went to the "Hop Farm", a children's attraction that Master Pink had requested to go to. One of the rides that was at the Hop Farm was the "driving school". The children were able to choose a car or lorry to "drive" around a road set up complete with traffic lights. Well this was Master pink's idea of heaven and we would have spent all day on this one activity if we hadn't done some tough negotiating! Miss Pink did get to have a go when we first got there, as the staff took pity on her ( it helped that they were the only children about at the time). The lad who was helping her pretty much drove the car all the way round, but as far as Miss Pink was concerned she was "driving" it!
We stopped on the way back to the tent for some dinner, and then went back to our soggy house for another rain filled night!
