Wild in the country

Back to work

Today I went to the hospital for my post-discharge check up, and all is going well. No perceivable damage to my heart, and everything ticking over nicely, and literally. The doctor says I'm good as I am, and I've not to try to put on any fat for the winter. So this winter I shall be keeping to my summer weight of 64 kg. I can also add that I haven't grown since I left the hospital last time, which is hardly surprising, but the woman did insist on doing weight and height.

After that I called in at work to get my lap-top refreshed, and see if I have a timetable for the new term. I do, but the boss was having discussions at the very time, so I sneaked out quickly. I'm not ready for discussions! Anyway, my classroom hasn't changed, but I'm not convinced the new classrooms will be ready by September. The new hand-over date is now sometime in October, but the view from outside doesn't give much confidence to that assertion.
