Interpol

Back through to Glasgow this evening to see Interpol.

We went through early to see the support band Everything Everything..... don't know where to begin with them, ok the beginning. Support bands should not come on to their own intro tape; call me old fashioned but it's a pecking order thing, you are the support band, pick up thy guitar , play and be grateful if we clap. Secondly what the fuck is with the boiler suit uniforms, Jesus wept... Had me doing the big Simon Cowell disapproval glower before they played. To sum them up, they were shite.....

Interpol on the other hand were just a wee bit special, pity the sound wasn't up to much but I'm coming round to the opinion that the Academy is just a crap venue, I want Interpol to play the Barrowlands. They played a wide spread and quite a bit of the first album, they were loud and they were cool. I was happy.
