PC iPlod

Opened up the Metro newspaper this morning on the train and there was our local PCSO Rabin staring back at me!

The PCSOs* are trialing a new app for iPhones, etc, in the borough of Runnymede (where I live) to keep them in touch with the general public. For those of you who remember mycannabis story of about a month ago this is one of the PCSOs the OM reported his suspicions to back in January. I'm not convinced this new technology will make them any more efficient and I hate to think what this is costing me in taxes!

*For those readers outside the UK the PCSO stands for Police Community Support Officer - a sort of local beat bobby.
