Taking photos in forests always presents a problem for me but this wonderful species deserves a go.

These Red Cedar trees are pretty special in Australia, partly because the majority were cut down in the mid to late 1800s. There used to be swathes of them along the east coast. Known then as Red Gold for good reason.

They attract several parasitic plants. The ones in the photo being stag horns.
