Horse racing with a view

This is Addington Raceway, home of the New Zealand Trotting cup in Christchurch. There cant be many race track with such an impressive backdrop.

Spent 2 days here at a course, probably would have been an unusual venue once upon a time but now that Christchurch has moved out of the city into the suburbs there is a shortage of venues.
