Slim's Museum will have to WAIT!

After being postponed last week, I finally had my 1st Spanish class today.

There are 5 of us 2 Canadians, an American, an Indian and this ol' Paddy finally. It was good to get started and I can feel already how it's going to be a great help.

Spent late evening trying to get some photos of the Soumaya Museum, which I previously shot here. However, when I got home I realised I'd had the camera set on the highest ISO setting and as a result the shots were mainly too noisy for my satisfaction.

It's just as well I happened on these four chaps taking a quick break from they're waiting duties. You can just make out the museum in the background.

Tomorrow, I will get a chance to implement my new burst of Spanish, when I ring the restaurant to see if anyone there has an email I can send this to.It's hard to remember that so many people here don't have themselves connected to t'Interweb.

Skies turned Satanically Black shortly after this and a thunderstorm dropped a load on me on my way home. Worst soaking yet.
