Time travel

Saw this door in Farnham today. Although it's on a street I walk down almost every day I hadn't noticed it before. Perhaps it's a portal to a different time? A strange door, leading to 25BC? According to Wikipedia, most things of note in 25BC were to do with Rome. It's the year Rome became the largest city in the world. Wonder what the area that is now Farnham looked like then?
