Rodeo

Today i went to my first rodeo. As i have worked on a farm veterinary clinic in the past for a couple of years i have been to numerous horse shows and having a Cowboy for a father i grew up going to auctions... but some how i never had the chance to go to a rodeo! All of my older siblings grew up on rodeos so it was fun to finally join in on the fun and go with a group of friends this Sunday for the first time (it also meant my dad didn't pull out a plaid skirt and frilly blouse with a hat and boots fore me) ;D In this picture the clown in red had a pretty close call obviously! But it wasn't until later that one of the clowns were actually injured.... Can you imagine being a paramedic (I am a medic) in the stands watching some of these injuries??? I jumped a few times as someone was hurt... I might have to start working at more rodeos i think so i can at least have a little control of the medical treatments!
