Red and White Dianthus

Well for my film photography class we have to take a series of pictures that are all related. Since I normally am into candid photography and random pictures of people places and things lol, I decided to try something i don't have much experience in shooting. I decided to go with close ups of flowers. I have a few already up on this site and have only gotten into it the past week or two starting with my grandmother wanting me to take shots of her magnolia tree. As i have been continuing i have been liking this style more and more, simply because even if the flower is decrepid and wilting you can get a good shot of it and it can mean something to someone. This was the best out of the probably 20 shots i took of each of the five flowers i took pictures of today.
