Waiting for lunch to come by.

We had a trip into Northumberland this morning, and visited Morpeth.
We hadn't been since the centre of the town was rebuilt, and we were surprised by the great selection of shops. Then we went to a favourite part, the river, where we strolled along the banks, watching the ducks, canoeists, and even some children swimming near the stepping stones.We spotted this Heron preening himself in the sun, before he started looking for his dinner.
It was a morning well spent.
