Boxes make the best toys......

The last few days have been rather a blur and very difficult. My father in law died on Saturday so nothing much has got done and obviously it has not been the best of times to get the camera out. However we tried to keep it as normal as possible for the kids.

Today has been a busy one as it's my daughters 4th birthday tomorrow. We spent the afternoon baking a pink birthday cake which I have now decorated to make a 'Dora the Explorer' cake as requested.

Hari spent a good deal of time playing in a plastic box ..... it was a pirate boat, a train and a car to name but a few .. he has a very vivid imagination for a 21 month old ..... and as you can see he was having a great time....
