Seed Head

After work Kiwilizzie and I went for a walk around the two mile - only it's 5 kilmetres so goodness knows why it's called that. Took a few photos but nothing that was even remotely interesting so when I got home I pulled out my close-up filters and had a bit of a play.

I have no idea what this seed head is from (very likely a weed) but I thought it made a reasonable photographic subject. It is only about the size of my little finger nail and incredibly delicate.
