Picollo Mondo

Today we went to Picollo Mondo, an amusement park near Pisa. We were quite surprised to see we could enter the park but nothing was going on... The girls were very disappointed and I can't blame them. Luckily we went to the nearby McDonald's before we went to Picollo Mondo so it wasn't a total loss :-) And the girls did like the donkey and pony they saw in the park.

Later (after we returned and I backblipped this on August 22) I found out that the park doesn't open until late in the afternoon. That's probably because of the high temperatures. Very understandable but we should have known this in advance. We need to do better research next time.
