Kilmuir Easter

Did a round trip of the Cromarty Firth going along the south coast to Cromarty and then by ferry to Nigg. The latter-day Charon not happy with a silver denarius but wanted £8. Good value and approaching the ferry ramp at Nigg got some shots of the ramshackle jetty which I intended to blip. Then through Arabella towards Barbaraville but stopped off at the church of Kilmuir Easter. Wandered through the graveyard and found these. Well now we have clapping at funerals (at least those on TV) I suppose this is the new norm. When I was a young lad in 1950s Ramsbottom (Lancashire) I was sometimes "up the street" as we said when a funeral passed. Everyone stopped and faced the procession (OK pretty perfunctory sometimes) and men took off their hats. No clapping. Death, thanks to the BBC, is entertainment now.
