Beware....Zombies in Glasgow.....!!!!!

Hi folks....just a quick check in with you all....missing this SO much!! But still not quite ready to come back full force. Beginning to see the wisdom of rest, albeit am bored and fed up with it. Went out yesterday to play at shooting some macro stuff but still just too uncomfortable. At least that's a notch up from sore!! :-))

Signed off for another two weeks today which was the prediction, albeit I had some fantasy that my body would heal quicker than the recommended "behave yourself for 6 weeks post op"!!!! Sigh...seems I'm not super human then!! Lol!!

ANYWAY...have been trying to use time appropriately and do what I can!! Have sorted through my entire 20,000 photos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How the hell did that happen???!!!!!! Do I have an addiction???!!!! Have printed some off....that was good and bad!! Some look great...other's disappointing!! Hey ho!! But a little "portfolio" collection was nice to have!! :-)) Have read lots about photography....and one book in particular I found myself going 'wow' at every page!!! "Understanding close up photography" by Bryan Peterson. WHAT a good book...with cracking shots!! Awesome!!!!! :-))

Start a short photography course with the Open University in October...and getting excited about that!! Yeah. Only major issue is the lack of a DSLR!!! Have had several major car bills and now a dental bill that has eaten into all my savings!! Scunnered, but determined that somehow or other I'll get a camera in time.....working on that.....PLEASE!!!!

Am trying to keep track of journals even if not commenting....and WILL be back!!! Miss you all!!!! And have seen some great shots on blip while away!!! Keep them coming!!! And stay safe!!!

As to todays blip!! Taken from the "amusing" left over screen set from Glasgow City Centre where they have presently transformed it into Philadelphia....for filming some zombie movie starring Brad Pitt!!! Smashed up cars, lorries and taxies all over the place today...with "dead bodies" everywhere!!!! Amusing because folk were taking photos all over the place...of the "dead" folk in cars and everything!!! Mental.....but quite fun and funny!!! Will HAVE to watch the film now!! :-)))

Take care.....will see you all again real soon....
xx
