Sunday in the Park

Buxton's Pavilion Gardens - a brass band playing, Buxton's own Fairfield Brass band (I think).

The music drew us in, so beautiful and clear. It was lovely to watch the relaxed audience enjoying the sound and the sunshine. More than one person tapped their tum to the beat, as they lay on the grass.

We walked around the Gardens, the Slopes and the Pavilion. I took photos of the Opera House, then we wandered around the shops . We tasted the warm Buxton spa water at the communal fountain, whilst other people filled their bottles.

The Crescent and the spa baths are in the process of being redeveloped, so that visitors will go to Buxton for the thermal spa experience. I would love to visit again when the renovations are complete.
