Four Go to Holy Isle!

First trip to Holy Isle for a number of years. The Buddhist community is working so hard to create a fully self-sufficient island and making real progress. The Centre runs residential courses and usually houses 60 participants and 20 volunteers .

We walked to the lighthouse area (lighthouse is private; a women's retreat) past St Molaise Cave, beautiful rock paintings of buddhist saints and the Healing Well .

Back at the Centre, I spent a very short but peaceful time in the Mandala Garden which looks and smells wonderful. It is full of messages from Buddhist thought and things lama Yeshe has said.
