Bridge

I've posted a few of this bridge over the last 7 months! Took a walk up to the observatory, first time I've been up there for a wee while. The birds were quiet and hiding today, though I was very excited to see a Great Spotted Woodpecker, I think a female, the first I've seen up there - glad to know they are still there! Didn't get a clear shot - quite dark and it was too nervous to let me get close! Got some fabulous views of one of the Balgay buzzards (or the Balgay buzzard, not sure how many there are up there) - but again my best shot was not quite sharp enough for my liking. Great to see so much life up there though!

PS - I walked past the same place on Friday, and the chickens were still scratching around. I wonder if they are actually free range? I hope they have somewhere safe at night, and enough sense not to try to cross the road!
