Looking up

Just a moment, on a break outside work. Something about the juxtaposition of ugliness and beauty here sums up how I feel constantly torn between the necessity of 'normal life' and and my love of being away from the banality of work and the superficiality of almost every other part of the everyday world.

The sky was a momentary glimpse of 'freedom' on a difficult day. The way the soulless buildings give the impression of leaning in to look down on their 'prisoner' captured the essence perfectly.
