I've come to realise something over the past couple of weeks, just how much I don't miss where I'm from. After seeing pictures of there by my fellow blipper friends and visiting there recently with Gracie and Mary, I've realised just how much I despise the place. True, I miss my family and friends but it's most of the other people there that I'm glad I'm away from, especially the scally/chav culture. You don't get many chav's in the Northumberland countryside and It's a much more peaceful place for it. It's so relaxing to be able to walk down the road and not have some snot nosed 12 year old's come up to you and say 'A mate, e wansa know if u got n e biftas to sell?' which translates as 'Excuse me kind sir, my friend here was wondering if you have any cigarettes to purchase?'

Then there is the sheep, I must of seen about three sheep close up in my life before I moved here, now I see tons everyday. They just become a part of your day to day life, and they are better to look at than the people from my former home. It's so nice to be able to walk out of my front door and see something like the picture above, believe me It's a lot better sight than I was privy to before. I guess a thank you to my lovely wife is required.
