A Day at the Beach!

A perfect day has been had by us.....we got all the chores that needed to be done, completed by 12.30 and we were outta here at 1pm.....this is a great achievement believe me!!!

We headed over the Margaree Harbour Beach, it is our favorite one at the moment!
It was a bit windy at first but it was sunny, we had nibblies and there was noone that 'needed' us for anything....yahoo!!! The water was actually very nice, once you got in past that difficult and torturous part...just past your middle....and i ventured in 3 times!! read lots, chatted....walked along the beach! I loved watching this 'older' couple who were sitting near us....each time they ventured into the water, they held hands....i even found them playfully splashing each other....i only hope i can be doing this with my love - Terry - when i get to their age...i think they were in their late 70's! It was a lovely experience.

Home now, dinner is on and we're all feeling the effects of an afternoon in the sun. I think a good movie with dinner is what is in order. By the way, last night we watched a really great movie....a documentary about Paul Simon and Graceland....i highly recommend it....just so engrossing to hear him talk about his process of writing lyrics, playing with meloday and so much more....it was awesome!
