Idiot

Set off for a friends leaving party in Stirling.

Nearly got onto the motorway and realised ............ no camera

SWMBO said we had to go back and get it.

Went back and got it.

Up the maotorway to Stirling and came off at the wrong exit (no signs warning that there was a contraflow)

Found the alternative route shut due to roadworks (bearing in mind I have no satnav and only a very vague knowlege of the Sirling area)

Eventually found the road that the map - yes - I had the presence of mind to print out a map of where the venue was. (but only a close in one - not the entire route).

Turns out that road is now a dead end (the closed the level crossing several years ago - just didn't tell the cartographers).

Much swearing and finding wrong roads.

Work out how to find the venue and get there 45 minutes late...............

NO FECKEN CARD IN THE CAMERA.

After a good time and plenty food (even though the caterers brought the 'wrong' menu and half of the requested food eg cooked chicken, polish sausage etc was missing ................ trouble for the boss tomorrow when Joanna goes and removes some of his vital organs) go to turn the car round (remember the road is now a dead end due to a railway line) and find the angle of the ramp out of the car park is so steep that the front end of my car drags along the road............ not happy in the slightest.
A daytime examination is required to see what damage has been done to valence/paintwork.
