Due West

Took some friends from Girl's work on a big walk over Lyme Park. Above Styperson Pool there's a quarry. The face is so high the trees can't grow up to to obscure the view from the top. On the left there are the Cheshire ridges of Alderly, Frodsham and in the haze Beeston Castle. In the middle the Cheshire plain stretches out. On the right is the edges of the Manchester conurbation.
Good walk. Good scoff and beer to finish off at the Windmill.
