Time is the fire in which we burn

Sorry for the dramatic title (it's actually a geeky Star Trek quote!)

This is Wendy. She used to work with Mrs Hollow some years back at a school in Derbyshire, but both left. We have kept in touch as she and her family are ace people.

We went over to Sheffield to see them today and realised that it had been 2 years since we had seen them! This is not good... Their daughters were born roughly the same time as ours and they are simply great folks. It made me think that there is so much stuff that gets in the way, that time should be made to catch up with people that matter.

Although the girls had not seen each other for a long time they just played instantly all afternoon, great to see. We had a top time catching up too.

We are not going to leave it two years this time!
