Brassed off

We think it might be an um-pah-pah, but I'm sure there's a correct name for this giant of the brass family. I'm not very good on names.
Today's image was chosen by Rebecca - thanks chuck. And the scene is our local gardens, in which we get a musical concert each Sunday afternoon in August. Last week was a folk outfit, but these chaps were far more splendid.
I might also say hi to Tracy, who has such fond memories of Jubilee Gardens.
