Sweet Child of Mine

Pull!

Elizabeth pulling her daddy out of her tunnel.

She came home today after a full weekend at her grandparents. She had a lovely time. She got to meet Thomas the Tank Engine again, her great grandma spent a whole day with them too. She went to Thetford and played in the sand. And she picked and ate lots, and lots, and lots of fruit! She now says the word "delicious".

Meanwhile Jeff and I have spent the weekend swapping the study and Elizabeth's room around. What was our study is a bigger room, so Elizabeth and the new baby will get to share that room, while Jeff and I and our computers are squashed in the tiny box room.

It's been a lot of hard work, especially because the study had become a bit of a dumping ground, so we had to do a big clear out first. 5 car loads to the dump! And lots of trips to the charity and second hand shops too.

Back to Elizabeth's homecoming... she's been in a great mood this afternoon. The sun came out when she got home, so we've been outside a lot playing in the garden with the sandpit, ball pool and tunnels. She's been running a lot too. We count "1, 2, 3, go" and then she starts and she says "B'bith running".

The extra 3 hours in bed each morning have been fab, but it's so lovely to have our little girl back.
