ooooh! that's lovely

Winston, a green Amazonian parrot, puffs out his feathers then shakes and dances in delight after being sprayed with water on a hot morning in Calgary.

There seem to be a lot more of these birds in Calgary than I would ever have imagined, as witnessed last week and a few months ago.

Now I have found a small gathering of parrot owners near the gym I visit ever Sunday morning. Until a couple of weeks ago I had not noticed them despite the fact that they have apparently been there regularly for months....weather allowing of course.

Winston is only 2 (compared to the 38 yr old Frederick from last week).
