Beautiful blur

Such amazing light today. Winter is coming to an end here and we have had a wonderful week of good weather. It was in the 30's for a couple of days mid-week but then cooled off to around 20. Today was cloudless and a little bite in the air when in the shade but wonderful in the sun.

We had a boy from Taiwan staying with us for the last couple of days (sadly I just dropped him off at the school) who is out here as part of a school-exchange program. While limited in his spoken English, he used the words he had beautifully. I particularly liked his comment when presented with a muscle from a seafood stew today. After looking at the muscle for a while, sniffing it, licking it and generally inspecting it from every angle, he said "I don't like this, but I will eat it only one time", then he dropped it in his mouth, made a face, and after a while said "yummy".

He couldn't read English I don't think so he wasn't worried about the "Baby Girl" t-shirt he wore for the weekend.
