guess where?

Disneyland Paris was where we found ourselves at 8am on a sunny Sunday morning in France! Our gite was a Monday to Monday booking so with a few days to spare we though that we would take Sienna to Disneyland since being of that age where princesses are all rather real to her! We had taken the other children there six years ago and we have not set foot in even a local fairground since, thought we haven't really being over-doing the whole theme park thing!

With Magic Hours passes we were able to enjoy some peace and space before the flood gates opened at 10am and it was indeed magic! The look on Sienna's face when she saw the Castle was indeed priceless and her endless joy and fascination with 'It's a Small World' was perfect.

However it is the experience of Thunder Mountain that we are still laughing about. I was determined to take Sienna on this ride - remembering this is a child who refuses to go on merry-go-rounds or bouncy castles, so before she could thing twice we committed to the queue and off we went. As she says now "at first I cried and then I laughed" but it is the first thing she tells anyone who asks her our Disneyland was - "I rode a rollercoaster'!!!

It was brill!
