Hokitika Wharf

We were up early today and went for a drive to Hokitika for some breakfast. It was an amazing warm day and we took a trip to the wharf with the intention of getting a pic of Mount Cook with the sun hitting it early in the morning. Instead I found the sight of the layers of sand that had been built up by many tides....I captured the Southern Alps in the background just for good measure:-)
