Roller Derby

Went to my first roller derby today. My niece was skating (not in this picture) and I was cheering for the Hillbilly Heartbreakers!

The star on the helmet marks this skater as a "jammer" - she's the one who gets points while passing the skaters on the other team. The other four skaters on her team help her do this by blocking the opponent skaters.
