Lights in the room at the Mark Thomas show we went to.
Mark Thomas told of his walk along the Israeli barrier in the West Bank. He told of his various experiences along the wall, of the people he met and the problems he encountered - while all along making us laugh. The chap seems to have boundless energy and enthusiasm - and a lot of guts to go where he went!
Last night's Henry Rollins show was fantastic - someone else with passion and enthusiasm that is infectious and a little awe-inspiring. He told of his experiences filming with National Geographic - now those are some shows I'm going to have to TiVo! He recounted his experiences of eating rat liver and cow urine - all in the interests of making the program. To say he was funny while re-enacting these events is an understatement!
That's the end of my festival shows - unless I somehow decide to go to a show next week. I've got the free fringe guide to have a look through, just in case :D
