Welcome to Arran (2)
Somewhat different weather today! Having just seen my face in the mirror it seems I have even got sunburn! I wandered up the glen with my camera and tripod and the dog and came back 3 hours later, then went and sat in the garden at the pub with mum and her cousin and her family. Lovely day, a few decent long exposure shots, which I'm pleased with as it was EXTREMELY windy, I was also using a custom white balance for the first time as my filters have a bit of colour cast, especially when you have to use the ND4+8 together, so it made a big difference. I thought this shot showed the beautiful weather best, as well as showing one of my favourite views in the world - down Catacol Glen from the Flat Rocks to the sea. This was my favourite picnic location as a child, and I still love it. I don't know how many swimming costumes I must have worn out sliding down rocks on my bum!
Am blipping at my sister's, ended up baby sitting, which is always a laugh. I was teaching my 8 year old niece how to use Photoshop, and took some pics of their very cute kitten and a HUGE spider on the ceiling.
All in all, the very definition of a lovely weekend! Hope you're all having a good one too!
