Incoming Bonfire Loop Dash
Weeks of work went up in smoke today - thankfully just the garden bonfire after a long day toiling away in a mad dash before autumn sets in. An afternoon trip to the beach was a welcome break and though I got a few good shots of Jamie's sandcastle, I chose the bonfire. Possibly because I spent far long staring at it though the image of the sandcastle sinking under the incoming tide played around in a loop in my head.
The smoke from the hedge trimmings was pretty intense at times. A static photo didn't capture it at all but my chosen blip captures the spiky flame and the lingering heat that kept going hours after the fuel supply was stopped.
