Surfin' Singapore
To use the parlance of Chick Young, Archie McPherson and Arthur Montford, today was a game of two halves. We spent the morning in the apartment with the noise of whinging kids gradually increasing, as the attractions of the various electronics diminished.
I finally got fed up and despite their protests dragged them out "exploring". Within minutes they were bouncing around Fort Canning Park, good humour restored. They loved the Fort Gate, Sally Port and Battle Box; fortifications through the ages.
Blip is part of the PleinAir Sculptures by Delia Prvacki, which looked too much like surf boards for the boys to resist.
Ended the day with Dim Sum and Peking Duck.
