Westminster.

This photograph was taken in a location of which I spend a lot of time in, in particular Westminster Palace and Portcullis House are two specific places which hold a lot of meaning professionally, for me. Generically though, The Embankment is a lovely pocket of London town with all its hustle and bustle intertwined with places to find peaceful moments both by the river and tucked-away enclosed greens.

This photograph also seems to capture the varying perspectives which the Embankment offers, whether it's from the London Eye, Big Ben's clock tower, Portcullis office windows or the various riverside cafes along that stretch along the Embankment. Each of them offer their own individual and unique view of what is fundamentally the same view of the skyline of Westminster and London city afar. At the risk of sounding rather trite, the same can be said then about life, and indeed photography. We can all see the same content and substance of what constitutes life, but naturally everyone sees the same 'stuff' but differently, as with composing a photograph. It just depends upon which perspective one is able and chooses to see something.
