the world around me

being back in the rural idyll i call home, its amazing to see bright flowers, lush green grass and mooing cows everywhere, as upposed to dry bush, african flowers and african wildlife like camelions, ants and snakes!

its not just the scenary that is different. it great to wake up to mum and dad who hug me in the morning (i miss this when im away) but love the excitement and independance that being away from home brings. the faster pace of life here..even in the countryside means things get done. its frustrating sometimes how long things take to get done. i like how everyone talks my language here albeit with different accents, but loved the challenge of trying to learn Bemba whilst in Zambia.

they seem worlds apart. but i love them both.
